Sunrise start for a  walk along Roora Trail to Whites Knob lookout, overlooking Kimba and environs…then hit the road passing the big Galah, half way across Australia signposts and heading west..again….still… about 1500km so far, diesel is cheaper than Melbourne by about 20c per litre, no supply issues..<\/p>\n

Our first stop was Mt Wudinna, apparently the 2nd largest monolith in Australia, behind Uluru….scouted around then headed towards Paldippa rock, another massive piece of granite but this having wave like faces on both north and south faces…likens to wave rock in WA… spectacular….back on the road for more rocky outcrops then lunch and Minnipa…. delicious home cooked hamburgers that Darlene had checked online reviews for..heading further west se stopped at a Windmill museum at Penong then drove into the sunset for a late arrival at Yatala….setup camp..dinner and off to bed.  Tomorrow we enter WA.<\/p>\n
