Early start to get some more km’s behind us…somewhat sad leaving Karijini after 3 nights….not much along the route, just the usual mining sites, occasional road houses and highways.<\/p>\n

Stopped at Port Hedland once reaching the coast, although we couldn’t see the coast…it’s a shipping port so not much to see….it seemed like the town was built at great expense, then just left to rot….quite a shock… nothing but heavy industrial areas and houses in clusters around a town centre, where the toilets didn’t work, broken glass in shp windows…you get the idea….<\/p>\n

Continued along the road for another 90 minutes before arriving at the sandy beach camp spot at Cape Keraudren..lots of rocks and as the tides rise and fall upto 6 meters, the water was about 2km from us….huge tides….blue sky and blue ocean in front of us….rock walked around the tidal pools, found some marine animals, \ud83d\udc19, \ud83e\udd80 etc<\/p>\n

Beautiful sunset and moon rise, but then water descended from the air, heavy condensation, everything got wet….<\/p>\n
